Bio

Elteriayah Hibbett – Writer | Director | Producer

Elteriayah Hibbett is a writer, director, and producer whose storytelling centers on identity, race, history, and the lived experiences of Black women in America. Born and raised in Chicago and now based in Florida, her work is deeply influenced by her upbringing in poverty and her desire to amplify voices and stories that are often overlooked.

Elteriayah earned her Bachelor of Science in Film from Full Sail University and holds certifications in Film and Television as well as Radio and TV Broadcasting from Illinois Media School. As a multi-skilled filmmaker, she also edits and shoots much of her own work, bringing a hands-on approach to the creative process from development through post-production.

Her projects include the short film Black or White, a powerful story exploring race and perspective, which she later adapted into a book released in August 2025. She is currently expanding the story into a book series while developing Black or White as a television series. Her creative work consistently explores themes of social truth, cultural history, and personal resilience.

In addition to filmmaking, Elteriayah has built a digital audience of over 80,000 supporters through her storytelling and visual content, creating branded media for businesses while continuing to develop her original projects.

As the founder of 1EllE Productions, Elteriayah wears many hats as a creator, but her ultimate goal is to bring her voice to a writers room where she can collaborate on meaningful stories that inspire conversation and cultural reflection. While her husband serves in the United States military, she continues building her creative career and expanding the worlds of the stories she believes need to be told.
