Elteriayah Hibbett – Director | Writer | Production Designer
Elteriayah Hibbett is a bold and visionary filmmaker whose work is rooted in storytelling that empowers, challenges, and resonates. As a Director, Writer, and Production Designer, she brings a rare combination of narrative depth, visual intuition, and emotional truth to every project she touches.
Born and raised in Chicago and now based in Florida, Elteriayah discovered her love for storytelling through performance and community-based arts. She holds certifications in Film and Television, as well as Radio and TV Broadcasting from Illinois Media School, and recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Film from Full Sail University.
Her creative portfolio includes powerful short films like Black or White and The Initiation, music videos like Catching Feeling and Poison, and collaborative projects where she’s played leading roles both behind the camera and within the design process. Whether she’s crafting dialogue, blocking a scene, or building a set from scratch, Elteriayah approaches every project with intention, purpose, and a commitment to telling untold stories.
As a Production Designer, she excels at designing immersive worlds that reflect character and theme—blending color theory, period accuracy, and symbolism to bring scripts to life. Her ability to lead crews, collaborate across departments, and unify a creative vision makes her a force both on set and in pre-production.
A mother, full-time creative, and founder of 1EllE Productions, Elteriayah continues to push boundaries with every frame, using film as a tool to inspire, reflect, and reclaim.
